Natures Aid PRO-30 Max (30 Billion Daily Probiotic) 30 Capsules

During the last few years there has been a lot of press about 'Probiotics' and how good they are for you. Probiotics are live bacteria that are good for your health particularly the digestive system. Probiotics can be taken in many forms and this 'Pro-30 Max' in capsule form from Natures Aid is a high strength single month supply of no less than eight active strains of probiotics. 30 capsules in one single pot and each containing: 30 billion live cultures of Lactobacillus Acidophilus Lactobacillus Plantarum Lactobacillus Casei Lactobacillus Reuteri Bifidobacterium Bifidum Bifidobacterium Lactis Bifidobacterium Longum Streptococcus Thermophilus This Biotic Balance from Natures Aid are capsules containing a white powder measuring 2.2cm length by 0.6cm diameter. They come in a sealed container, they have no smell, no taste and are fairly easy to swallow. I have been taking these capsules for just over two weeks and I have had no side effects at all. Although I haven't been taking them for long I do actually feel healthier. Due to tablets and inhalers that I have to take every day, my stomach always feels a little dodgy, I also have regular acid reflux and indigestion. Since I have been taking these Probiotic tablets I have certainly noticed a difference in the acid reflex, thankfully it has gradually been reducing. I'm also happy with the price which is a very reasonable 14.21 (at the time of writing this review).

I'm recovering from a chronic candida overgrowth and leaky gut syndrome and these have been helping me (alongside other supplements) to heal, can definitely feel the difference with 30 billion as opposed to the usual 2.5 billion or so. Worth a shot! :)

The capsules are manageable, not as big as two-tone ibuprofen capsules, they are the medium size that's slightly bigger than a prescription antibiotic. At just over a cm, they're pretty easy to swallow and i'm not a fan of tablets so found these manageable. You can use them for making yoghurt, there are some great recipes online which involve non-dairy nut milks, and the process basically involves adding a few of these to a milk and sugar, heating and waiting. I've tried these with coconut cream and they work for yoghurt. As far as a supplement, i've not taken them to 'cure' anything but i'm happy with them. No nasty side effects, I was a bit wary of taking a bacteria tablet probably mostly just because of what it sounds like, but i've felt the same since taking them and perhaps with a bit more peace of mind. Gut flora and other bacterial imbalances can cause many things including fungal infections, bodily fluid imbalances and general feeling of illness, so making sure everything internally is balanced can help with a lot of things, even if we're not fully aware of it being a cure. Overall i'm happy with the product and the price of it.
