Emergen-C Vitamin 8 Sachets

I've always taken berroca, or the aldi version of them and find they make a small difference to my general health and immunity. When given the opportunity to trial the Emergen-C Super Orange Energy I thought why not. It comes in sachets which you dissolve by pouring into a glass of cold water and within a minuet its ready to drink. Its quite pleasant really, I'm not always a fan of orange flavourings, preferring berry or tropical but these went down easily enough. In general I'd say they are very effective. I've been fighting a cold and sore throat off and these have helped it not develop into more than an annoyance. It's worth noting though that products such as this are most effective when taken over a prolonged course of time on a regular basis to build you up vitamin levels and give you the protection of the increased amounts of vitamin C specifically

Great energy boost

If you like this type of thing, then this is the supplement for you. I take regularly other branded supplements, and this tastes just like those. I can't work out what is special about this one, but it's all similar. I can't comment on whether they boost my immunity above and beyond what others might, and even whether they do anyway, but they taste nice.

I have tried these over the last few days to give me a boost after exercise.They seem to work fine as I feel more energetic.The taste is good as long as you stir the powder in. If I continue to use them I am hoping to get the immunity for winter.

I love this product. Very good alternative for Berroca type products and at a very competitive price. I find the taste very good. Not super fizzy but I prefer that personally. This tastes more natural than similar products to me and I didn't have to tip it past my taste buds, it is actually nice to sip. I have a cold at the moment so perhaps the smell is minimised? Anyway I felt terrible this morning but after one of these I felt better. I am not an expert but the list of vitamins and minerals seems as good or better than many similar products on offer. It's also quick to dissolve and there was no powder left at the end of the glass. I know people say you shouldn't take vitamins, you should eat a balanced diet etc but really? I don't always manage to eat as well as I should and I find that an occasional vitamin pill or sachet really helps!

There's a huge lack of evidence as to whether or not Vitamin C supplements work to increase your resistance to colds, which is what I purchased this for. Anecdotally however, since I started using these emergen-C sachets a few years ago, I've had very few colds and sicknesses, so I'd recommend at least trying it out. Lastly, it's pretty tasty as far as these things go.
